The media seem to portray Calvin Harris somewhat as an anti-social geek; perhaps this is so IT nerds can relate to him. Still, having a brain helps, otherwise his twitter account wouldn’t be as amusing as it is. Either way, Adam Richard Wiles knows how to keep the Calvin Harris moniker in lights with a salacious wit that rapines and wrestles egos; while perspectives simultaneously see a petulant whizz kid and a fucking funny adult. Steig Larssen’s story of Swedish kick-ass 5 foot pierced ninja hacker Lisbeth Salander is being reincarnated in Hollywood by David Fincher. Many expect it to be as awesomely uber as it’s Yellow Bird predecessor. It had better be. At least with Nine Inch Nails Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross onboard, expect plenty of sullen fury as the NiN boys take on soundtrack duties for the film.

The thing about this interview is that I got to chat to Babydaddy. That in itself, is a name worthy of Kick Ass. I first became intrigued about The Scissor Sisters when they appeared on The Footy Show – anyone that camp who could proudly face a bunch of mysogynists and still wear a glittering smile has got to be admired. And I found the Scissor Sisters to be a special little group: kind of like a warped Partridge Family. I got to know about them, appreciate who they are and where they’ve come from.
